Abstract:Insatelitenavigationandcommunicationsystems,theuniquestructureofatunnelmakes thesignalpropagationsignificantlydierentfroheoennviront.Tegometricspematerial,andtrfactosofll-talstlshelluelsiilwas androadshavediferentefectsonwirelesschannelmodeling.Thispapersystematicallsummarizesandanalyzesthewirelesschanel modelingtechniquesinhig-spdrailwayandoadunnels,includingchannelcharacteristics,propagationmodelsandmodelingmeth ods.Inparticular,channelmodelingofroad tunnelsceneisanalyzedidetail,including non-stationaryandomgeometricchael model.TheMultiple-InputMultiple-Output(MIMO)channelintunelscenarioissimulatedandanalyzed.Therelationshipbetween chanelcapacityand Signal toNoiseRatio(SNR)underdiferentnumbersofantenasisgiven,aswellasthechannelfrequncresponseandtheempiricaldistributionofchanelcondtionnumberundermassiveMIMOcondions,showing thepropagationcharacteristics of signals in tunnels with rich scatterers.
