Abstract： This article summarizes Professor JI Bing's clinical experience in treating lung cancer with Fuzheng Xiao'ai Decoctionbasedonthe theoryof "yang governs qi-transformation，yin governssubstance-formation".Professor JIBing holds thatthe pathogenesisof lung cancerisrooted in insuficiencyqi-transformationbyyang，with excessive substance-formation byyinas the contributingcondition.It involvesyang qi deficiencyof the lung，spleen，and kidney，leading todisorderedqitransformation，internal generationof phlegmand blood stasis.Pathogenic toxins then take advantageofthis conditionto invadefrom outsideor generate internaly，retaining inthe lung.Aftera prolonged course，these factors bind togetherandtransform into cancerous toxins.Treatment should focus on supporting healthyqi and boosting qi，resolving phlegm and dispeling stasis，removing toxinand dissipating masses.In clinical practice， modifiedapplication of hisself-formulatedFuzheng Xiao'ai Decoction basedonsyndrome diffrentiation has shown satisfactory efficacy.
