Research on WANG Zhizhong's Academic Characteristics in Treating Gynecological Diseases with Acupuncture and Moxibustion Based on Zhen Jiu Zi Sheng Jing

Abstract：Byanalyzing the chapters related to gynecological diseases in WANG Zhizhong'swork Zhen Jiu Zi Sheng Jing （Classic of Nourishing Life with Acupuncture and Moxibustion），this study summarizes his principles of acupoint selection.Itis concluded that WANG Zhizhong emphasized choosing acupoints from the conception vessel（CV）and the foot-taiyin kidney channel when treating gynecological diseases with acupuncture and moxibustion. Hestrengthened meridian connectionsand promoted thesmoothflowof qi and blood through intersectingacupoints and the five transport points.Additionally，WANG Zhizhong focused on standardizing acupuncture and moxibustion treatmentsandcombined moxibustion with herbal medicine，forming distinctive therapeutic features.For gynecological conditionssuch asmenstrual disorders，redvaginal discharge，infertility，andpersistent lochia，headdressed the complex pathogenesis of interweaved deficiency and excess syndrome，emphasized reinforcing deficiencyand reducing excess，and skillfulycombined disease and syndrome with acupoint selection，developing personalized diagnostic and therapeutic characteristics.This appoach provides valuable insights forthe traditional Chinese medicine treatmentof gynecological diseases.
