Abstract:Aiming at the problem of insufficient accuracy in simulation and testing caused by deformation heating during the cold stamping process of QP980 ultra-high strength steel battery shels, constant-temperature tensile tests were carried out at temperatures of 20, 60, 100, 150∘C and strain rates of 1×10-4 , 1×10-3 , 1×10-2s-1 ,and true stress-strain curves were obtained. Based on the test data,a temperature-strain-stress coupled Norton-Hoff (NH) constitutive model was established,which can accurately describe the influence of deformation heat during cold stamping on plastic stress. Combining with the thermomechanical coupling simulation theory,a fully thermo-mechanical coupling simulation was conducted for the cold stamping process of QP980 steel battery shells,and the springback results of traditional stamping(without considering thermal effects) and thermo-mechanical coupling simulation were compared and analyzed. The test verification shows that the springback accuracy of the simulation considering thermal effects is improved by 25.51% which is closer to the actual working conditions, providing accurate data support for the springback compensation of battery shell processes and significantly improving the forming quality of parts.
