Abstract: Aiming at the industry pain point of long production cycle,low precision and high cost of drilling fishing tools, this paper studies the application of advanced die technology in production and its improvement effect. In the research, the upgrading path of mold technology with digital design, precision machining and intelligent management as the core is put forward. The results show that the digital design shortens the mold design cycle from 4. 5 months to 1.2 months,and reduces the number of iterations by 60% . High-speed cutting and 3D printing technology improve the machining accuracy from ±0.1mm to ±0.02mm ,and shorten the machining time of a single piece by 67% . Intelligent molds and automated production lines have reduced the production lead time from 120min. /pieceto 40min/piece , and the daily production capacity has increased by 200% . In addition,H13 hot-working die steel and surface coating technology can prolong the tool life by 400% ,reduce the failure rate by 80% and reduce the cost of a single piece by 35% . The research proves that the advanced die technology improves the production efficiency, quality and economic benefits of drilling and fishing tools to a certain extent through the whole chain optimization.
