Abstract: To address the challenges in machining the socket housing through turn-milling complex machining,including its intricate structure, significant deformation during turning, and stringent requirements for coaxiality ( ϕ36E8 hole)and surface quality,this study analyzes the deformation mechanism induced by machining forces. An optimized process plan is formulated through cutting parameter calculations, complemented by a dedicated fixture design to ensure geometric tolerances. Additionally, the machining technologyand installation methodology for internal threads with wire thread inserts are investigated to meet the performance demands of the fire control system in operational scenarios. The CAXA/UG software is utilized to refine machining programming and precision control. Experimental results demonstrate that the improved process stabilizes the coaxiality of critical features within 0.03mm while significantly enhancing machining efficiency. This approach provides a technical reference for the fabrication of similar complex components.
