ABSTRACTOBJECTIVETosystematicallyreview the status onpharmacist competencyasessment toos both domesticaly andinterationallyprovidingateoreticalbasisforonstructingscientificandapplicablepharmacistcompetencyassessmnttools in China.METHODs Through iteraturereviewandcomparativeanalysis，15representativedomesticandinternationalpharmacist competencyassessmenttoolsweresystematicallysummarized，andteirtheoreticalfoundations，coredimensions，methodological characteristicsand practicalapplicationswerecomparedandimplications were given.RESULTS&CONCLUSIONS International researchhasestablishedrelativelymatureevaluationsystems.RepresentedbythosedevelopedfromtheUnitedKingdom，theUnited States，andtheIternatinalPharmaceuticalFederation，theseasesmenttoolsdmonstratesientificstructure，wideapplication， anddynamicanditernationalaplicabilty.Whiledomesticresearchasprogresedinsubspecialtiessuchasclinicalpaists， licensedpharmacistsndpedatricparmacists，ittillfacescallnges icudingisuicientstandardizationnadeqateldation， delayedupdates，andlimitationsinpracticalapplicationThereasonsforthdispariesinasessmettolsetweenChiaadoter countriesincludediferenesin pharmaceuticalcaremodels，varyingpharmacisttrainingsystems，culturalandsocialbackground factors，aswellasdierencsininustrymanagementandinterationalifuence.Basedotis，teuthorsuggestspromotgthe developmentandresearchofasessmenttools forpharmacistjobcompetency in China fromfouraspects：mechanismconstruction， system refinement，standardization development，and practical implementation.
