Abstract Objective： To translate and validate the Chinese version of the Nursing Time Management Scale（NTMS） in terms of its reliability and validity. Methods： The Brislin translation model was employed to translate， back ⁃ translate， conduct cross ⁃ cultural adaptation，and pre⁃test the original English version of the scale to develop the Chinese version of NTMS. A total of 549 nurses from two tertiary hospitals were selected for reliability and validity testing. Results： A total 17 items of the Chinese version of NTMS. Exploratory factor analysis extracted three common factors with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 77.436% . The Cronbach's α coefficient for the overall scale was 0.915， and the values of Cronbach's α for each dimension fell within a range of 0. 925 to 0.944 . The test ⁃ retest reliability， with a two ⁃ week interval， was 0.893， and the content validity at the scale level was 0.926. Conclusion： The validity and reliability of the Chinese version NTMS are excellent，indicating its suitability for assessing time management skills among clinical nurses in China.
