Abstract Objective： To analyze the definition and connotation of the core competence concept. Methods： The literature related to the core competencies of specialized nurses in the CNKI，WanFang Database，VIP，SinoMed，ProQuest，PubMed and Web of Science were searched. The retrieval time was from the inception to July 2024. Using Walker and Avant conceptual analysis methods for research and analysis. Results： 32 articles were included and the core competence included clinical， scientific research， leadership， education， ethics， ethics， legal， management， development and literacy competence;the preceding factors included the individual level， institution level and hospital level; the consequences included individual level， patient level and hospital level. Conclusion： It defines the core definition attribute of specialized nurses through conceptual analysis and provides theoretical reference support for the training and development of specialized nurses in China.
