Abstract Objective： To apply the best evidence of airway humidification in hospitalized patients with laryngectomy and tracheotomy with non ⁃mechanical ventilation to clinical practice in order to improve patients' satisfaction with humidification. Methods：Based on the FAME attribute evaluation standard system developed by JBI Evidence⁃Based Nursing Center of Fudan University，the evidence⁃based practice group evaluated the newly retrieved evidence， extracted 20 usable evidences， converted them into 11 clinical review indicators， and compared patients' satisfaction with airway humidification and incidence of complications before and after the application of evidence. The implementation rate and theoretical knowledge score of nurses on the review indicators. Results：After the application of evidence， the implementation rate of 9 review indicators was significantly improved， 2 review indicators were not significantly improved， and the correct rate of nurses' humidification theory knowledge was increased（ . After the application of evidence， the satisfaction of patients with airway humidification was increased，and the incidence of mucosal injury and pulmonary infection was decreased $＼cdot P { < } 0 . 0 5 ＼dot $ .

Conclusion： Through the practice of evidence ⁃ based， the comfort and humidification satisfaction of patients with tracheotomy can be improved，the incidence of complications can be reduced，and the quality of nursing can be improved.
