Era Demands， Problem Analysis and Solutions for Cultivating Professional Football Reserve Talents in China

Abstract:By employing methods such as field research， this study analyzes the cultivation of professional football reserve talents in China， elucidates the era-specific challnges faced by this group and their root causes，and explores practical approaches to resolve the difficulties encountered during their transition or career advancement. Key findings reveal systemic issues in China’s professional football reserve talent cultivation， including a disorderly training system， narrow talent development pathways， inadequate youth team infrastructure， subpar coach training and competency， unscientific competition structures， and insuficient resource guarantees for reserve talents. Based on this， the study proposes the following recommendations : establishing a new-era reserve talent cultivation system aligned with China' s national conditions； broadening talent selection and advancement channels; creating diversified and year - round competition formats; developing innovative coach training and employment frameworks; instituting efficient regulatory mechanisms; and enhancing resource support systems for reserve talents.
