Abstract:Toaddresstheproblemofreducedoutputperformanceofphotovoltaicarrysduetopartialshadinginactualoperation, a 3×3 photovoltaicarrymodelwasbuiltinSimulink tostudythechangesinoutputcharacteristicsunderfivetypesof shading: rowshading,columnshading,diagonal gradientshading,randomshading,andlocalconcentratedshading.Theresultsshowthatthe P-Vcharacteristicsofrowshading,diagonalgradientshading,randomshading,andlocalconcentratedshadingexhibitmultiple peaks,withthecorresponding-Vcurvesdisplayingasteppdpatern,whilethe-Vcharacteristisundercoumnshadingreain single-peakedInreasdsadingintesitysigiiantlyducsthsriitcurntadmaiumpowerinreasingeulty ofmaximumpowerpointtracking.Thisresearchprovidesatheoreticalbasisfortheoptimaldesignandoperationalmaintenanceof photovoltaic arrays.
