Abstract：Inorder torealize theevaluation ofthe tactile styleofsuit fabrics，anobjective evaluation of suit fabrics is carried out using a textile feel stylometer （CHES-FY），which integrates the measurement functions of styles suchasfullness，stiffness，roughnessandlooseness;atthesame time，basedontheprincipleof the CHESFY system，the subjective evaluation method for wool or wool-type fabrics is formulated;and through the analysis of the relationship between subjective and objective evaluations，verify the feasibility of the CHES-FY system for testing suit fabricsand further improve the evaluation system and standards.By analyzing the relationship between subjective and objective evaluation，the feasibilityof CHES-FY system in testing suit fabrics is verified，and the evaluation system and standards are further improved. Specific research contents and conclusions include：1.The objective styles offabricssuch as fullness，stiffness，roughness and loosenessare tested by CHES-FY system，and the corresponding subjective evaluation methods are proposed by combining the principles of the system; 2.Comparison and analysis of the results of the subjective and objective evaluations reveals thatthe two haveacertain degree of linear correlation，with the Pearsoncorrelation coefficientsabove 0.8， which is strong correlation，and it alsoreveals that the subjective and objective evaluations of the CHES-FY system have the following results.The objective indexes tested by CHES-FY system have good correlation with the subjective style;3.By establishing the linear regresson equations between the basic test data of textile feel stylometer and subjective evaluation， the correlation coefficients with stiffness，fullnessand roughness are 0.85， 0.73 and O.97 respectively.The results show that the results ofsubjective and subjective evaluations are positively influenced.
