Collaborative rescue dispatch model for metro network fire emergencies

Abstract:Theintegrateddispatch of metrofirefightingengines(MFEs)and trainsduring fireemergenciespresents uniquechalenges due toconfined tunnel spaces that restrict conventionalfire truck accessandtheoften uncertain fire location.This necesitates cros-line deployment of MFEs within themetro network.Wedecomposethe problem into two subproblems:MFErescue operations and evacuation of trapped trains.Foreach,a mixed-integer programming model is formulated.Toenhancecomputational eficiency,we proposealine-based decompositionalgorithmcombined witha constraintfitering technique.The modelsare validatedusing the Suzhou metro networkasacase study.Results demonstrate thattheproposedapproacheficientlygeneratessolutions within practical timeframes,enabling effective cross-lineMFEdispatchandrapidtrainevacuation.Thisresearchofersboth theoreticalinsightsandapracticaldecisionsupport tooforemergencymanagementinmetrofirescenarios,contributing significantvalue tometrooperationsafetyand resilience.
