Identification of Combustion ProductsofLonicera japonica Thunb. Thread IncensebyHS-SPME-GC-MS Combined with Multivariate Statistical Analysis

Abstract：Inorder toidentifythemainvolatilecomponents intheincense，further revealthediferencesof these components among different samples and their contributions to the aroma characteristics，headspace solid-phase microextraction gas chromatography-mass spectrometry（HS-SPME-GC-MS）combined with multivariate statistical analysis was used，thecombustion productsof stickypowder，Lonicera japonica Thunb.powder，Lonicerajaponica Thunb.powder combustion productsand thread incense combustion products were extracted to identifythe volatile components and determinethe key volatile components.Theresults showed that atotal of1O2 volatile components were identified from the 4 samples，which were mainly aromatic，heterocyclic and ketone compounds，etc.The key volatile components of the4 samples were analyzed by principal component analysis，orthogonal partial least-squares discriminationanalysisand clustering heat map analysis，which showed that thevolatile componentsof Lonicera japonica Thunb.powder combustion products and thread combustion products were similar incomposition，and there werelarge diffrences with thevolatilecomponentsof sticky powder combustion productsand Lonicera japonica Thunb. powder，and screened out 25 kinds of variable important for the projection（VIP） >1 key volatile components. Aboveresults providedatheoreticalbasis forthefurtherdevelopmentof Lonicera japonica Thunb.thread incenseand expandedanewdirectionfor theapplicationofChineseherbalmedicine.
