【Abstract】To clarify the regulatory mechanism of temperatureon the performance of narow-range oxygen sensors, thispapertakesthethicknessofthehaterresistorastheregulatorycarier,systematicallyinvestigatesitsinfluenceonthe operatinginternalesistanceandoperating temperatureof thesensor,andexplores thecorrelationcharacteristicsbetween temperature and performance bycombining EDS,ICPcompositionanalysis and performance tests such as responsetimeand outputvoltage.Theresultsshowthat thereisapositivecorelationbetweenthe thickness ofthe heaterresistorand the operating internalresistanceofthesensor;astheresistorthickness increases,theoperating internalresistancegradually decreases,which inturncauses theoperating temperatureofthesensor torise.Elevated operating temperatureisthecore inducement leading totheperformancedegradationofnarrow-range oxygen sensors.Onthecontrary,reducing thethickness of theheaterresistorcanoptimizethesensorperformance,whichisspecificallmanifestedinthesignificantimprovementof therich-burn voltageoutputandtheobviousshortening of theresponse timeunder rich-leancombustionand lean-rich combustion conditions.
