AbstractAbdominal diagnosis serves as one of the crucial methods for diagnosing diseases intraditional Chinese medicine and holds significant guiding value for clinical syndrome diferentiation and prescription selection.Professor ZHAO Jie places significant emphasison the application of abdominal diagnosis in clinical practice.Grounded in the theory of reinforcing yang with clasical prescriptions，he adheres tothesyndrome differentiation principleof“deficiency related to Taiyinand excessrelated to Yangming".When performing abdominal diagnosis，he first discriminatesbetween positive and negativereactions，and then selects the corresponding prescriptionsand herbs for the treatment of diseases by integrating the symptomatic manifestations in diferent partsof the abdomen，frequently achieving excellent results.One provencase is attached.
