Impact of AGS Configuration on Front Compartment Thermal Performance and HVAC Energy Consumption

【Abstract】Byusing the calculation methodofone-dimensional-three-dimensional joint simulation,the influencesof AGS layoutformontheintakeairvolumeofthe front cabin,theheatdisipationof thecoling moduleandthe energy consumptionof theairconditioningcompressorwereexplored.Theresearchfinds thatwhenthedistancebetweenAGSblades andthegrilleis57~97mm,theeffectsof directandnon-directarrangementsonheatdissipationperformanceandenergy consumptiontendtobeconsistent.Theattenuationofintakeairvolumeisapproximately2.4%,thereductionofheatdissipation is lessthan1%,andthereisalmost no impactontheenergyconsumptionof thecompresor.When thedistance is lesthan 57mm(closetotegrlle),tedectaangementissuperiortohesaggeredarangemnt.Tisiseflectedinteactatthe intakeairvolumeincreasesby3.16%comparedtothestaggeredarangement,theeatdissipationincreasesbyapproximately 2% ,and the energy consumption of the compressor decreases by about 2% .When the distance is greater than 97 mm (close to thecolingmodule),theadoptionofastaggeredarrangementismoreconducivetoeducingtheairintakeatenuationcausedby AGS blades.
