AbstractWith population aging and the development of digital technology，age-friendly services in grassroots libraries are becoming increasingly important.Focusing on dialect speech interaction technology，this paper adopts literature analysis and case study methods to sortout the integrated development of dialect preservation and library services as wellas the current situation of dialect database construction. It further examines how such technology facilitates informationaccessforolderadults，strengthenscultural identityandenhancesserviceeficiency，whilealso facing chalenges intechnology implementation，standardsand specifications，and professionalpersonnel.Accordingly， it proposes strategies such as building a collboratively developed dialect speech resource repository and optimizing localizedspeech interaction interfacesforolderusers，inorder to provide theoreticalreferenceand practical guidance for the innovative development of age-friendly services in grassroots libraries.
