Impact of an Empowerment Education Combined with Refined Management Intervention Model on Gout Patients in Remote Suburbs

Abstract： ObjectiveTo explore the effect of the intervention mode based on empowerment education combined with fine management on patients with gout in rural areas，and to provide a basis for the further development of gout care. MethodsA total of 9O gout patients admitted to a community health service center from January 2O23 to December 2O23 were randomly divided into control group C γ=45 ）and observation group （ n=45 ） according to random number table. The control group was given routine outpatient health education，and the observation group was added an intervention mode based on empowerment education combined with fine management. After 6 months，fasting blood uric acid level， liver and kidney function level and self-management ability were compared between the two groups after intervention. ResultsThe self-management ability score of the observation group was （145.6±4.5） ，significantly higher than the control group （ P<0.05 ）.The fasting blood uric acid value of the observation group was （331.08±30.43）μmol/L ，and the liver and kidney function indicators were： ALT（26.82±11.28） U/L， Cr（87.13±12.68）μmol/L ，BUN （5.70±1.51） mmol/L，all of which were significantly lower than those of the control group （P<0.05 ）.ConclusionThe intervention mode based on empowerment education combined with fine management can efectively improve fasting uric acid and liver and kidney function of patients with exurbation gout，and improve their self-management ability.
