Abstract:Bulkcarrersfacedynamicspeedchangesundermultipleoperatingconditions,andtraditionaloptimizationbasedona singleesignspeedstruglestomeetfulllifecycledemands.Totacklethisthispaperestablishesahullformresistance optimizationmethodologyforbulkcariersacrossmultiplespeedrangesByconstructingaweightedcomprehensiveresistance objective functionandusingCFDnumericalsimulations forsystematicanalysisof thethreeconditions (low-spedregime Fr=0.12 design-speed regime Fr=0.18 ,high-speed regime Fr=0.22 ),theweighted coefficient determination method driven by AIS real-ship dataandtheKriging-GAintegratedoptimizationstrategyareadoptedtoenableeficientglobaloptimizationoftheshipfom(or Hull Lines)parameters,achievinga 96% improvement in computational efficiency compared to traditional methods.Results show 8.3% 12.1% ,and 9.7% total resistance reductions for the optimized hull form across the three speed regimes,with a 10.5% drop in annual comprehensive fuel consumption and an 8.2% reduction in carbon emissions,validating the multi-condition adaptive optimization method's effectiveness and engineering application value.
