AbstractAimingattheproblemthatthewaterqualityoftheYellowRiverisectedbyrainfallrunoffpolution，thissudyadopts themethodofcombininggeographicinformationsystem（GIS）andrainstormflodmanagementmodel（SWMM）toovercometheproblemsf insuicienthistocaldata，odelpreisionliitationandmoingprecisionliationByacuatelydividingthYllowRieBasin usingGISandintroduingtheodel，ndakingintoountfctorsschsprecipitatioifiratio，suceuodpu tantattenuation，precisesimulationandanalysisofYelowRiverwaterpolutionavebeenacheved.Theresultsshowedthatwiththen creaseofrainfalltieadamount，theconcentrationofpolutantsintheYellowRiverwatersignificantlyincreasedCompaedwiththe actualmonitoringesults，tisesearchmethodhashighaccuracyprovidingscientificbasisandideasforthewaterqualitycontolofth Yellow River，and providing a reference example for water quality management of similar rivers.
