Numerical simulation of waste heat recovery in water-sealed circular cooler

Abstract:To study the cooling performance and waste heat recovery eficiency of the water-sealed circular cooler,the gas-solid heat transfer mechanism and temperature variation characteristics of the sinter cooling process are simulated.Based on the local non thermal equilibrium model of porous medium,a three-dimensional thermodynamic simulation model of the whole machine and trolly of the circular cooler is constructed. The temperature distribution and waste heat utilization of sinter and trolley outlet air is compared between systems with and without waste heat recovery. This provides a reference for the design and development of sintering process equipment.
