Abstract：Archives industry isa large-scale and comprehensive emerging industry that providesproductsandservicesforarchivesbusiness management and archives management. It has spawned new kinetic energy for the high-quality development of archives with the integration of scientific and technological innovation and business forms.The contradiction between the highqualitydevelopment needsof archives undertaking and the archives industry in the primary stage isincreasingly prominent，and will gradually becomea key factor restricting the high-quality development of archives.Based on the perspective of industrial economicsand modernarchivesmanagement，this paperputs forward the outlineof the development of archives industry.It should clarify the concept system of archives industry， identify the form of archives industry and judge the evolution cycle， construct the cultivation mechanism ofarchivesindustry，explorethe healthy and orderly development path of archives industry，and construct the institutional systemof archives industry.
