Abstract：The "essential power of human beings" is an important force that enables people to transform themselves and the world through perceptual and objective activities. As an objectified outcome， the "intelligence"attribute that emerges from artificial intelligence has ledto many illusions. It is necessry to draw on the historical materialist methodology to trace back the theoretical basis of "the essential power of human beings" by distinguishing between alienation and objectification， grasp the boundary between artificial inteligence and human capabilities，and expand the possible boundaries of "the essential power of human beings". In fact，although artificial intelligence is labeled as "intelligence"，its so-called "intelligence"is manifestedas quantifiable and computable atributes，originating from mechanical creations bestowed by humans. Ultimately，it is a breakthrough and confirmation of "the essential power of human beings".A cautious approach to the "transcendence" and "inteligence" of artificial inteligence not only enables us to abandon the romantic critical thinking of alienation in theory， but also helps us to keenly perceive the inevitable development trend through virtual means，opening a new chapter in the reality of "the essential power of human beings" in the intelligent era.
