Abstract： The vigorous development of new quality productive forces requires not only material and technology to shape the form，but also spiritual culture to forge the soul.The ethos of work that has emerged on the new journey of the new era is the natural choice for cultivating and developing new quality productive forces.Both the ethos of work and new quality productive forces coexist in the labor practice under the same space-time background，are integrated into the interactive relationship between productivity and superstructure，and are embedded in the process of material and cultural-ethical advancement. Both of them exhibit a high degree of compatibility and internal consistency. The connotation of the ethos of work in the new era includes the value pursuit of advocating work，the emotional tendency of loving work，the willand belief of hard work，and the moral qualityof honest work，thereby providing spiritual motivation and cultural nourishment for the leap of new quality productivity from different aspects. This generates the internal logic of the connection and interaction between the two parties. Accordingly，we will strengthen ideological and political guidance，enhance the people's sense of fulfillment， foster a spirit of determination，and promote a culture of pragmatism. These efforts will cultivate a strong work ethic，enthusiasm，perseverance，and integrity，thereby creating a practical pathway for this work ethos to empower the new quality productive forces.
