Abstract:To study the applicability and advantages and disadvantages of recycled plastics in the automotive field,bumpersskinsaremade fromrecycledandvirgin polypropylene plastics (RPPandVPP),andthe low-speed colision performanceof the2 materials’bumpers iscomparedandanalyzedusing a pendulum impactsystem.The resultsshowthatnofractureoccuredafterthetestof the2material bumpersunderdiffrent impact strengths,butthe widthof theRPPbumper abrasion is larger thanthat oftheVPP,andthe visual performanceisnot excelent.The impactforce generatedbythecolisionunderthesame load was lessthan thatof the VPP,buttheimpacttime is reversed,indicating thattheimpactaccelerationoftheRPPbumperismoremodest,whichismoreadvantageousin pedestrian protection.Inaddition,the mechanical propertiesof materialsareanalyzed inorderto investigate the reasonsfor the variationin test.Theyield elongationof theVPPmaterial islowerthan thatof theRPP(35 % )and the impact strengthand energyabsorptionare slightly great.Thisalows the RPPbumper skin togenerate the same deformation with lessforce (less impact acceleration).The performance of RPP bumpers is close VPP due to the advantage of additives of RPP and the greater melt fluidity.

随着对生态环保要求的日益提高,材料的回收再利用成为汽车行业减少碳排放的重要方式之_[1-2],报废汽车材料的回收再利用逐渐被各大主机厂所关注[3-6]
报废汽车的材料可进行破碎、分类回收再利用[7-8],据统计,一辆小型家用轿车的材料构成约为钢铁 62% 、铸铁 9.67% 、粉末冶金 1.23% 、有色金属8.5% 非金属材料 18.6%[9] ,非金属材料中以塑料为主,在汽车用塑料制品中,聚丙烯(Polypropylene,PP)含量高达 37%[10] 。(剩余10369字)
