【Abstract】Objective：To evaluatethe therapeutic effect of Tongluo Xiyu Decoction combined withautologous platelet-rich plasma（PRP）injectionon patients with knee osteoarthritis（KOA）and the levels of inflammatory factors such as IL-1 ， IL-6 and TNF - α in the serum. Methods： Sixty subjects were randomly and equally divided into the PRP group and the combined group，3O subjects each group.The PRP group received jointcavity injection of PRP treatment， and the combined group took Tongluo Xiyu Decoction in addition to the treatmentof the PRP group.Results：The total effective rate of the combined group was 90.00% ，which was higher than 73.30% of the PRP group （ P<0.05 ）. After treatment，the visual analogue scale（VAS）scores of both groups decreased，the measurementvaluesof knee joint circumference decreased， the levels of serum inflammatory factors （IL -1， IL -6 and TNF -α ） decreased significantly，and the Lysholm knee joint score increased （ P<0.05 ），and the improvement of the combined group was more significant than that of the PRP group （ P<0.05 ）. Conclusion： Tongluo Xiyu Decoction combined with PRP injection treatment can significantly enhance joint repair function and improve the clinical symptoms of patients with KOA.
