【Abstract】In the context of the increasing incidenceof type 2 diabetes melltus year by year，how to understand the pathogenesis of high blood sugarfromthe perspective of traditional Chinese medicine isthe keytothe intervention of this disease by traditional Chinese medicine.Based on traditional theories，thecauses of change overtime，and the clinical observations and practicesof multiple doctors，it is proposed that high blood sugar isa syndromeof dampheatin the spleenand nutrient phase，which can be used to guide thediagnosis and treatment of type2 diabetes mellitus.
