Abstract： This paper systematicallanalyzes the causes of the wind farm network stormandits impacton thelocalized PLC equipmentinviewofthetotalstationcommunicationinteruptionandabnormalunitshutdowneventscausedbythenetwork stormduringthelocalizationtransformationofthemaincontrolsystemofawindfarmwindturbine.Itisproposedtoupgade thefirmwareofthedomesticallyproducedPLC，includingmemoryexpansion，protocolstackoptimizationandstormdetection thresholdseting.ExperimentalverificationshowsthattheupgradedPLCcanefectivelyresistnetworkstormsistand-aloneand ring network tests， ensuring real-time task scheduling and stable program operation.
