Joint optimization of transmission resources and trajectory for air-ground cooperative NOMA with dynamic time-slot division

Abstract:Aiming at the critical issues of scarce spectrum resources and unmet user QoS in emergency communications,this paperconstructedanunmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)-assistedair-ground cooperative systemand proposeda dynamic timeslotdivisionbasedNOMA transmisionandresource alocationscheme.Thisschemedynamicallysplitedeachcommunication time slot.Itprioritized the groundbase station(GBS)toserve itsscheduledNOMAuserpairs.Ifanyuserfailed to meetthe QoSrequirementdue toinsuffcientpowerallcation fromtheGBS,the UAVprovidedcompensatorytransmission withintheremaining portionof thesame timeslot.Forthissystemmodel,itformulatedanoptimizationproblemto maximizethesystem throughputunderconstraintsofUAVenergy,basestationpower,ndspatiotemporalresources.Toenhancecomputatioalefficiency,theoriginal mixed-integer nonlinearprogramming problem wasdecoupled intothree subproblems:UAVtrajectoryoptimization,GBSuserschedulingandpoweralocation,andjointUAVpowerandtime-slotoptimization.ThepaperusedsuccessiveconvexapproximationandMcCormickenvelopes tohandlenonconvexconstraintsandadoptedahierarchicaldistributed iterative approach for solution. The results show that the proposed scheme achieves over 20% higher total system throughput and nearly 30% beter energy eficiency compared to static schemes.This demonstrates the superiority of the proposed scheme inbothoverallsystemthroughputandenergyeffciency,confimingitsefectivenessforpracticalappicationinemergencycommunications.
