Optimization of Land Use Structure in Huyi District from the PerspectiveofEcosystemServiceValue

Abstract:[Purposes] This study investigates the status and changes of land use in Huyi District,evaluates and optimizes its ecosystem service value (ESV),and provides references for regional land use planning and ecological civilization construction.[Methods] Based on the land use data of Huyi ♯♯ District from 200O to 2O2O,the equivalent factor method and a linear programming model were used to quantitatively evaluate and optimally allocate the ecosystem services,exploring a land use structure optimization scheme for maximizing the service value.[Findings] From 200O to 2020,the total ESVof Huyi District showed a continuous decreasing trend.Amongthe individual ecosystem service functions,climate regulation consistently played a dominant role,accounting for approximately 28.42% of the total value.By optimizing the land use structure to the optimal state for ecosystem services,the ESV in the study area in 2030 is projected to increase significantly by7.76033 million CNY compared to 2020.[Conclusions] Grassand and forest land are the core contributors to ESV in Huyi District, while the expansion of construction land leads to a decrease in ESV.Therefore,moderately increasing the area of grassand and forestland most significantly promotes ESV enhancement,and reasonably controling the scale of construction land helps improve the overall ecosystem service functions.
