Research on Three-Port Isolated Resonant Converter under PWMPFMFixed-Frequency Hybrid Control

Abstract: [Purposes] To address the issue of poor adaptability of resonant converters in applications requiring a wide range of output voltages,a PWM-PFM fixed-frequency hybrid control scheme applied to a three-port isolated CLLC DC converter is proposed.[Methods] Leveraging the advantage of PWM control in easily achieving wide-range output and based on previous research findings,the PWM-PFM fixed-frequency hybrid control scheme for the three-port isolated CLLC DC converter is proposed. Subsequently,steady-state and transient scenarios are simulated and analyzed using Matlab/Simulink simulation software.[Findings] Simulation results show that the voltages at each port on the secondary side of the resonant converter can maintain stable output,and the currents can respond rapidly to reach steady state.[Conclusions] This successfully demonstrates that the three-port resonant converter employing the PWM-PFM fixed-frequency hybrid control scheme can achieve wide-range output while ensuring stable and anti-interference operation.
