【Abstract]To improve the massage eficacyof electric vehicle massage seats,this paper proposes an evaluation method basedon theanalysisof time-frequencydomaincharacteristicsof surface Electromyography(sEMG)signals.Firstly electromyographicsignalsarecolectedfromthetrapezus,lower trapezius,latissimusdorsianderectorspinae musclesunder three distinct states:comfort,fatigue,and massage,thenthosesEMGsignalsarepreprocessed through filteringand normalization,folowed bytheextractionof MedianFrequency(MDF)andRoot Mean Square(RMS)features.Characteristic difference of the sEMG features among the three states ( P<0.05 )is compared,which confirms validity of the proposed evaluation method.Furthermore,theanalysisofmusclerelaxationacross diferent muscle groupsprovides insights into the optimization of the mechanical massage structure.
