Abstract:In order toevaluate theposibilityof remanufacturing and repairing of engine camshaft under diferent wear conditions,takingthecamshaftofJichai1V190diesel engineas theresearchobject,thecamshaft models ofthree statesof non-wear,local deep wear of 4mm and overall shallow wear of 3% were established by finite element method. Based on ANSYS Workbench software,the transient stressanalysis was carredoutto explore theinfluenceof wearonthe surface stress fieldofcamshaft.And combined with nCode DesignLifesoftwareforthefatiguelife prediction.Theresults show that the fatigue life of the camshafts with two different degrees of wear is not less than 1.8×104 hours,which meets the minimum servicelifestandardrequiredforremanufacturing.Atthesametime,itisrevealedthat wearwillweaken thefatigue performance of the camshaft,and the local deep wear of 4mm has a more prominent effect on the reduction of life than the overall shallow wear of 3% . The research results confirm the potential of camshaft remanufacturing under specific wear conditions,and provide valuable references for the optimal design of related remanufacturing processes.
