AbstractStudingepoabilitystrutioofthatictregthfodtaineisfudametaltostablsgteoetil liabledesignsaddsBygmathematicaltatistisdrobabilitthryesechetdforsuchrobbiltstribia lished.Basedon2setsofexperimentaldataontheburststrengtoflatwoundcontainers，thefollwingresearchresultsarebtaed： ① At asignificancelevelofOO5，theratiooftefectivemeasuedvaluesoftecontainerburststrengthtotecalculatedaluesoftwoforulas are random variables that basically conform to normal distribution；atatwo-side confidencecoefficient of 95% ，the interval values of the distribution parameters of this random variable are obtained. ② It is analyzed that at a significance level of O.O5，theratios of the container yield strengthtothecalulatedValuesoftwoforulasarealsoandomvarablesthatbasicallonfortooraldstribution；atatwoideconfidence coeficient of 95% ，the interval values of the distribution parameters of this random variable are also obtained.
