Research on Vegetation Coverage Change Trend in Hefei Main Urban Area

Abstract： In this study， a vegetation coverage model for the main urban area of Hefei was established to predict its changing trend. The results show that from 1995 to 2015， the vegetation coverage in the main urban area of Hefei exhibited a trend of increasing first and then decreasing： it increased from 0.4630 to 0.5639， and then decreased to 0.4636. Vegetation coverage was significantly negatively correlated with the proportion of construction land （r = -0.925）， and significantly positively correlated with the proportion of cultivated land （r = 0.921）.
