Abstract:Toevaluate thecarbon emission issue during the production processof needle-punched geotextiles,S factory was takenastheresearch subject.Acarbonfootprint modelfortheproductionprocessofneedle-punchedgeotextiles was constructed based on thelifecycle assessment(LCA)method tocalculate thecarbon emissons in stages such as raw material usage,raw material transportation,production manufacturing,and auxiliary equipment operation.Through localsensitivity analysisandglobalsensitivityanalysis,thekeyinfluencing factorsof thecarbon footprint were identified.Combinedwiththe uncertaintyasesmentresultsof the MonteCarlosimulation,anoptimizedpathforenergyconservationandemissionreduction wasultimately proposed.Theresearchresultsshow thatfor everytonof needle-punched geotextiles producedbySfactory,the total carbon footprint of the production process is 4374.61kgCO2 ,with the highest proportion of raw material usage stage, whichisthecorefocusofcarbonreduction.TheMonteCarlosimulationresultsalsoverifythatthecarbonfootprintfals within the 95% confidence interval,confirming thereliabilityof themodel results.Theresearch findings canprovide scientific basis forthecarbonemisionmanagementof needle-punched geotextileproductionenterprisesandfacilitate thegreenandlow-carbon transformation of the industry.
