Abstract:This study proposed a method for identifyingadulterationin high-quality edibleoils bycombining laser-induced fluorescence(LIF)technologywithpartialleastsquares-discriminantanalysis(PLS-DA),aimingtoquicklydetectlowquality edibleoilsinthemarket.Firstly,alaboratory-builtLIFsystem wasused tocolectfluorescence spectral dataofoliveoil, sesame oil,peanut oil,and theiradulterated samples.Subsequently,PLS-DAwasemployed toconstructadulteration identification models for oliveoil,sesameoil,and peanutoil respectively.Finaly,the performanceof these models was evaluatedusingapredictionset.TheresultsindicatethatthePLS-DAmodelcanacuratelycapturethediferential characteristics in fluorescence spectrabetweeadulterated samplesandauthenticsamples.Under theverificationof the experimentally obtained data,a 100% correct classification rate is achieved. This method enables high-precision identification of adulteratededibleoil,providingascientificidentifcationtoolforfoodsafetysupervisionandoferssupportfortechnical research.
