Study on the Process of Producing Sodium Fluoride from Ammonium Fluoride and Sodium Sulphate

Abstract:Thisstudyinvestigatestheproductionofsodumfluorideusingammonumfluorideandby-productsodmsulpateasramaterials, examiningtheinflueneofvariousfactorsonproductqualityandyieldExperimentsdmonstratetatoptimalconditiosareachieedbyon trolling reaction temperature at 80∘C ,reaction time at 3 hours,ammonium fluoride excess at 20% ,adjusting pH to approximately7 with sodium hydroxide,and selecting sodium source mass ratio as NaOH:Na2SO4=0.5:9.5. In the secondary synthesis stage,ammonium fluoride and sodium sulphate feed rates are set at 8.2% of the primary input.Meeting the above conditions,the sodium fluoride product meets or even exceeds first-grade quality standard as set in GB/T4293-1984,with apurity of 98.68% and ayield of 96.06% .The by-product ammonium sulphate met GradeII quality or higher as per GB/T 535-2020.
