Abstract: Graphene,as a new type of nanomaterial,possesses outstanding mechanical,physical and chemical properties,as wellas excellent optical and biocompatibility.Therefore,it has broad application prospects in the fields of wear-resistant coatings and functional coatings.This article reviews several commonly used preparation techniques of graphene and their advantages and disadvantages,and focuses onthe mechanismof graphene's role in metal-based wear-resistant coatings and the current research status.In addition,in the field of graphene functional coatings,it mainly introduces the function of graphene glasses and the research status and existing problems inthe preparation of graphene glass.Finally,,it proposes improvement measures for the preparation of graphene glass and future development directions.
