AbstractDeveloping high-performance structural materials to address technical challnges that traditional engineering materials cannot solve effctively has become an inevitable trend in the industry of civil engineering.In this regard,this paper focused on Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP),including the performance of CFRP materials in civil engineering,key performance studies of CFRP in civil engineering applications,and new applications of CFRP(especially CFRP cables) in the field of civil engineering in China.It summarizes and analyzes the current state of research and applications,aiming to provide new insights to promote the scale development of CFRP in the field of civil engineering.
