在英国伦敦泰晤士河南岸坐落着一家特色孔子学院——伦敦中医孔子学院。它是由英国伦敦南岸大学、中国黑龙江中医药大学和哈尔滨师范大学中英两国三所高校于2007 年合作创办的全球第一所以中医药为特色开展汉语言教育和中医养生文化推广的孔子学院。该孔院2008 年正式揭牌运营。

Situated on the southern bank of the RiverThames in London，United Kingdom， standsan exceptional institution - the ConfuciusInstitute for 'Traditional Chinese Medicine（CITCM）. It was collaboratively foundedin 2007 by London South Bank University（LSBU），Heilongjiang University of ChineseMedicine， and Harbin Normal University.As the world's inaugural Confucius Institutededicated to Chinese language educationand traditional Chinese medicine culture，CITCM primarily focuses on teaching Chinesemedicine. It was officially inaugurated andbegan its operations in 2008.

孔院运营15年来，在进行汉语教学的同时，积极推介中国的中医特色文化，以实用易学的健康养生讲座和中医药文化展览和丰富多彩的工作坊吸引了當地民众，拓展了中英人文交流领域，促进了叶西医的交流与合作。（剩余476字）
