Abstract：The General Requirements for Sin？ gle Set Management of Electronic Archives is for？ mulated to meet the needs of the development of China’s e- government and archival regula？ tions. This article analyzes the background and main content of the standard， discusses its main features， theoretical significance， and practical value. It further proposes suggestions for how the standard can be further improved in adapting to information technology development and in the domestication of archival information technol？ ogy.
