Analysis of the Upgrading and Renovation Project for Deodorization of Sewage Pumping Stations

Abstract:AsewagepumpingstationinJiadingdistrict,Shanghaicityislocatedneartheresidentialarea,andteoiginal deodorizationfacilitiesaredesignedaccording totheEmisionStandardsforOdorPolutants (GB14554—1993),butthey cannolongermetthegrowingdemandfordeodorizationandurgentlyneed tobeupgradedandrenovated.Thisrenovation adopts a four stage combination process of “acid washing + Ultraviolet (UV) photolysis + alkali washing + dry chemical adsorption”,with a processing air volume of 5000m3/h .The monitoring results show that the emission quality concentration of the mainodorpollutants meets thelimitrequirementsoftheEmissonStandardsforOdorPollutants (DB31/1025—2016), which canprovidereferencefor theupgrading andrenovationofdeodorizationfacilities insimilarsewagepumping stations.
