Research on the Control Method of Iron and Manganese Migration and Transformation in Manganese Sand Filter-Membrane Coupling System

Abstract:Toaddresstheproblemsof ironand manganese migrationandtransformation,aswellasmembranefoulingcontrol inthe manganese sand-membrane coupling system,amulti-levelbarriercollaborativecontrol method was proposed. This methodfirstregulatedthepHvalueof therawwater,disolvedoxygenconcentrationandthecoagulationassistance, enhancing the oxidation and retention effect of Fe2+ and Mn2+ by the manganese sand filter,and reducing the migration ofcollidalparticlestothemembraneunit.Secondly,itoptimizedthefiltrationateandbackwashingregimeofthefilter, combined withlow-fluxoperationof themembraneunit,high-frequency backwashingandaeration stiring,todelay he membranepolltionprocess.Finall,astepwisecompositeagentcleaning technologyasdeveloedtoachievetargetedremoval ofiron,manganeseandorganiccompositepoltion.Theesultsshowedthatthecollaborativecontrolmethodsignificantlyduced theaccumulation rate of membrane pollutionand improved the system stability and water qualityof the effluent.
