Study on Operational Efficiency and Stability of Pilot Plant for CO Catalytic Combustion in Sintering Machine Flue Gas

Abstract: Basedon thefluegasconditions of the sintering machine withan efective sintering areaof 360m2 at Nanjing Ironand SteelGroupCo.,Ltd.,a3months COcatalyticcombustion intermediate testisconducted.Byconstructing a containerizedintegratedpilotplatform,theoperational eficiencyandstabilityoftheCOcatalyticcombustionpilotplant are systematically studied.The results show thatthe CO removal rate ofthe pilot plant remains stable at over 70% ,with an average removal rate of 71.86% throughout the entire experimental period,the average CO removal amount per unit temperature rise is 113.8mg/(m3⋅∘C) .After multiple starts and stops and fluctuations in operating conditions,the performance of the device doesnotshowsignificantdegradation,demonstratinggoodoperationaltability.Thisstudyprovideskeydataandpracticalbasisfor theengineering applicationof CO catalyticcombustion technology in the treatmentof steel sintering flue gas.
