Simulation and Analysis of Liquid Ammonia Pipeline Leakage Accidents Based on ALOHA Software

Abstract:Tobetterquantifythediffusionlawandrisk impactrangeofleakage,aliquidammoniapipelineleakageacident model was constructed based on ALOHA software.Setuppipeline rupture scenariosusing ALOHA software,input liquid ammonia physical parameters and meteorological data,simulate the dynamic distribution of toxicgas clouds using a heavygasdifusionmodel,andanalyzetheexposureareaandsecondarydisasterriskundertheconcentrationthresholdof Immediate Dangerous to Lifeor Healthconcentration (IDLH).The simulationresults indicate thatthe impactradius can reach 300m within 3O minafterthe leak,and there isasignificant exposure risk indensely populated areas.Based onthis, a graded emergencyresponse strategy such as dynamicalertzone divisionand medicalresource pre setting is proposed to provide decision support for the prevention and control of hazardous chemical accidents.
