Research on the Path of Building the Ecological Security Barrier in the Upper Reaches of the Yellow River in Gansu Province

Abstract:Theconstructionofecologicalsecuritybarriers intheupperreachesoftheYellowRiverisacore task toensure national ecological securityand sustainabledevelopment of theYellow River Basin.Gansu province isanimportant water source conservationandsupplyarea intheYellow River Basin,and itsecological barrierfunction directlyaffects the ecological balance of theentire basin.Basedontheefectivenessof ecological protection practices in Gansu province, this papersystematicallyanalyzes thecurrentproblemsand proposesapathtostrengthentheecological securitybarier in the upperreachesoftheYellw River fromfivedimensions: institutional innovation,systemgovernance,technological empowerment,regional collaboration,and green transformation.
