Impact of Agricultural Nonpoint Source Pollution on Shallow Groundwater Quality and Prevention and Control Measures

Abstract:Toclarifytheimpactmechanismofagriculturalnon-pointsourcepolltiononthequalityofshallwgroundwater, acombined methodof Principal Component Analysis (PCA)and multiple linearregression was employed toanalyze the contributionrates of diffrent pollution sources to groundwater waterquality indicators.Theresults indicate thatthe applicationofagriculturalfertilizers,leakageof livestockand poultry waste,andruraldomesticsewagearetheprmary polutionsources.Additionally,nitrogenleaching fromfarmlandisthecoredrivingfactorbehindtheexcessvenitrate nitrogenlevels ingroundwater.Theimplementationofrelevant preventionandcontrolmeasures has effectivelyimprovedthe quality of shallow groundwater.
